Heron House, Manchester Register Office

Heron House in Manchester, is the City Centre Register Office - perfect for the smaller weddings (micro weddings as they’re nicknamed), or for Elopements. Heron House is a recently fully refurbished building, home to a few businesses, with the Registry Office occupying the whole ground floor. The main room is The Pankhurst Suite - a large room with a capacity of up to seventy people. You can, of course book this room out of peak times for smaller wedding and elopements. I have photographed weddings and elopements there quite a few times over the years - even been a witness too!

Heron House Wedding Photographer

As I mentioned, I have been a Heron House Wedding Photographer several times, photographing weddings of all sizes, from two-person elopements to a ‘full’ Heron House. I have been an established Manchester Wedding Photographer since 2008, and love photographing weddings in the city centre. As a Heron House Wedding Photographer, I get to shoot funky wedding photos in and around the city centre, often walking from the Register Office to a city centre reception at a nearby restaurant, like Gousto or The Fountain House, for example. Perfect for smaller, more intimate or ‘micro’ weddings.

Micro weddings are becoming more and more popular. Emily & Andrew’s wedding had thirteen guests. Plus they had booked my Taxi Elopement package for their wedding. This allowed them to be picked up at Hotel Gotham, driven to Heron House for the ceremony, plus an hour taxi tour wedding photography afterwards, whilst the guests made their way down to The Blackfriar Pub. A perfect way to have your micro wedding at Manchester Registry Office, with me as your Heron House Wedding Photographer.

Elopements In Manchester - Taxi Package

Every year, I get booked for several elopements too, at the Register Office in Manchester, and can offer the unique services of my Taxi Elopement Package. In conjunction with John Consterdine from Manchester Taxi Tours, we offer a bespoke service - perfect for eloping couples or micro weddings. As a Manchester Register Office Wedding Photographer, John and I collect you in Manchester, drive you to Heron House (we can even be your witnesses), then you have a one-hour photoshoot at several locations around the city centre or beyond. Totally unique, and you can choose the locations personal to you if you wish…we will do our best to accommodate you. Afterwards, we drop you off in town to be with friends and family in a local bar or restaurant. As I say, it’s TOTALLY UNIQUE, and you can see more information HERE. Oh, and it doesn’t just have to be in Manchester - no, we have worked at other Register Offices such as Sale, Bury and Altrincham Town Hall, to name a few.

Working in the the city centre, and knowing where the great locations are for funky urban wedding photography is my forte.
