Stirk House Elopement Wedding Photographer
Highlights from Jacqueline & Phil’s Elopement at Stirk House
Stirk House Wedding Venue
Stirk House is one of my favourite wedding venues to work at. Located at the top of The Ribble Valley, between Sawley and Gisburn, Stirk House is a very popular award-winning Ribble Valley wedding venue. With regards to their awards over the years, Stirk House say the following…
“We are honoured to have received a number of awards and accreditations in recent years at Stirk House. We strive to deliver the very best service to all of our guests and take great pride in welcoming people from all over the world to this special place that we are so very proud of. Several of the awards we have received have been voted for by our wedding couples, or have been given following the many kind and thoughtful reviews from those who have spent time at the hotel”
Stirk House is one of my favourite wedding venues to work at, and I have produced Stirk House wedding Photography for a number of weddings now.
Mick Cookson - Recommended Stirk House Wedding Photographer
I am also a recommended Stirk House Wedding Photographer, and proud to say I have been for a few years now. I love working at this venue - the staff are so lovely and helpful, and ‘Legendary Dave’ is brilliant to work alongside. As a Stirk House Elopement Wedding Photographer, my authentic wedding photography style is to shoot unobtrusively with little to no direction from myself. Especially with an elopement. There are no guests, only two witnesses from the venue (Normally I am one of them!), so I let the time run on naturally.
Elopements at Stirk House
I have photographed elopements at Stirk House before - some clients, though prefer total privacy. Jacqueline & Phil are ok with may showing these - we tend to leave things ‘on the shelf’ until family and friends know. No point in anyone finding the news out on my website! The couple booked me as their Stirk House Elopement Wedding Photographer by recommendation. My time as a Stirk House Elopement Wedding Photographer was used well, managing to grab a few portraits of Phil, plus a little time with Jacqueline’s preparations. I’m glad I did….the emotions were running high in the Bridal Suite. After all - this was also the first time we’d actually met, so the morning was VERY real! We would also be together for a couple of hours or so, from preparations, the ceremony plus a few couples photos afterwards...I was going to be quietly busy.
Authentic Wedding Photography at Stirk House
Hopefully you’ll see that the photos are totally authentic. Yes, my clients wanted a few posed shots for the wall at home, nbut mostly wanted me to be, as their Stirk House Elopement Wedding Photographer to let them do their thing and capture the fun and the emotion of the elopement. I think we nailed it!
Here’s some of my favourite photos from the day…
