As a Manchester-based Wedding Photographer I’ve photographed many weddings in the City Centre. My personal favourite is Manchester Town Hall, and I’m looking forward to it re-opening in 2024! Manchester Wedding Photography in the City Centre is unique in terms of the look and style, no other location offers. From the old Victorian buildings, and alleyways, to the ultra-modern architecture, Manchester has it all for your Manchester Wedding Photography.

Manchester City Centre Weddings

In the City Centre itself, you are spoiled for choice. From the stunning Manchester Hall, The Midland, and King Street Town House, you also have the choice of Hotel Gotham, Great John Street Hotel and Stock Exchange Hotel. All excellent venues, all very different, but all perfect for your Manchester Wedding Photography. The good news with any of these venues is that they’re pretty much walkable – even in your fancy Jimmy Choos. Or grab a cab and tour the city stopping off at your favourite locations for photos.

Castlefield Weddings

The fantastic Castlefield area offers endless opportunities for your urban wedding. I have photographed there many times, and it never gets tiring or dull working there, whatever the weather. On the doorstep you have Dukes ’92 with The Castlefield Rooms, with Cloud 23 at The Hilton ‘just over the road’.

Intimate Manchester Wedding

Perhaps you’d like something more intimate?

Maybe go for a registry office ceremony with your family and friends, then walk over to The Fountain House, or round the corner to Duttons or Gusto. I have shot weddings there and it works so well after a short walkabout Manchester Wedding Photography shoot.

If you fancy having your wedding slightly away from the hustle and bustle of Manchester City Centre, maybe look and see if Salford Lads Club or The Lowry Theatre ticks your boxes? Northern Quarter Wedding Photos

Wherever you get married in Manchester, there’s always the option to nip into the Northern Quarter for some quirky wedding photos. The area is well suited to engagement shoots too. Lots of colour, lots of urban art, lots of character….you’ll love it.
