Foxfields Wedding Photographer

Amy booked me to be hers and Mitchel’s Foxfields Wedding Photographer a year or so before the big day. Amy knew what she wanted for her Foxfields Wedding Photography - Natural, unposed wedding photography. Theirs was to be more of a party than a traditional wedding. Organised chaos…and it was! I met Mitchel on the morning of the wedding and we hit it off straight away. This was going to be a good day as their Foxfields Wedding Photographer. Amy and her ‘Bride Tribe’ were getting ready in the bridal suite. That was chaos too…and I still don’t get used to being the only male in the room with all the girls laughing and having fun (some at my expense too, which was ok by me!) Amy’s not one for posing for photo after photo - a quick snap here and there (mostly pulling a funny face or sticking her tongue out) is all I could expect. We did manage ten minutes after the ceremony and group photos though, where I threw her a curved ball with her statue style phos standing on a bench. She loved those…and no funny face in sight! But ten minutes later it was all chaos and party mode -perfect to capture as a Foxfields Wedding Photographer.

Foxfields Country House Wedding in Summer

Amy & Mitchell had a brilliant day for their Foxfields wedding. The sun shone all day. Perfect! Their ceremony was inside Foxfields and beautifully styled for their Foxfields Wedding Photographer collection. The room looked fantastic in pinks, all beautifully designed by Woodyatt Warner. The wedding flowers too, all stunning and created by the same team. Just before the ceremony, an emotional dad met his daughter for a few moments together before walking her proudly down the aisle. A proper rollercoaster of emotions this was, as they both laughed off the nerves together. This was a lovely start to this Foxfields Country House wedding in Summer.

Brilliant Wedding Ceremony

The ceremony was light hearted too - especially as Amy arrived at the top of the aisle and my camera strap broke on my second camera. But, the ex-goalkeeper in me (I wish!) caught the camera on my foot, clipped the strap back together, and carried on regardless. Hell of an ice-breaker as my Foxfields Wedding Photographer! As the gasps faded, it was Amy & Mitchel’s turn to be the centre of attention, smiling and laughing all the way through their wedding ceremony. They did manage to be serious for the vows. Just. But they gave me some great natural photos as their Foxfields Wedding Photographer, adding to the story of their day.

Documentary wedding photography at Foxfields

I really enjoyed my day producing documentary photography at this Foxfields Wedding. My brief was to capture all the fun of the day (some photos I cannot show here - there were to be several levels of fun on Amy & Mitchel’s wedding day!) I quietly went about by job, shooting with my trusty Nikons on small prime lenses, mingling with the guests and being generally unobtrusive - perfect for this Foxfields Wedding Photographer.

After I delivered the wedding collection to Amy & Mitchel, Amy’s mum Lynne booked me for her wedding at Sparth House. Boy, now that WAS a party!!

Here’s some of my favourite photos from the day…

Party Time at Foxfields Country Hotel

The evening celebrations were brilliant! As Amy & Mitchel cut their cake, it started to fall apart slightly. The reaction shots were great as their Foxfields Wedding Photographer. The guests were dancing before Amy & Mitchel’s first dance - it seemed a shame to have to stop them, but that wasn’t my call. The dance floor filled up again immediately after their first dance finished, and went on very late I’m told…
