Peckforton Castle Wedding Photography

One of Cheshire’s finest wedding venues

If you’re planning to have your wedding at Peckforton Castle – congratulations! You have chosen one of the most beautiful and unique venues in Cheshire. This venue is always one of my favourites to work at.

Unique Cheshire Wedding Venue

Peckforton Castle is situated less than a mile away from Beeston Castle in Cheshire. This unique Cheshire wedding venue was built over eleven years from 1840 by John Tollemache . Peckforton Castle has a great history too. It has been a family home, a hostel for evacuee during the second world war, and today remains oner of the leading venues in the North west of England. I have undertaken Peckforton Castle wedding photography a few times now and really love the venue’s quirkiness. This unique Cheshire wedding venue also offers around 36,000 acres of land, marble floors, red stone buildings and a beautiful ceremony room - perfect locations for your for Peckforton Castle wedding photography.

Peckforton Castle Wedding Photography

Peckforton Castle wedding photography is a unique experience. The venue interior can be quite dark, especially in the winter months. But dark is perfect! I am a low light specialist and tend not to use flash for my Peckforton Castle wedding photography. My natural film-like style is perfectly suited to the candlelit interiors, mixed with the natural window light. The Hexagonal Room and The Wine Cellar are awesome for low-light, intimate weddings. There are lots of areas inside and out for some spectacular wedding photography at Peckforton Castle. In Summer, the venue takes on a whole new character for your Peckforton Castle wedding photography. The drinks reception and family group photos are all outside on the lawn, and with lots of woodland and castle backdrops for your wedding photos, you are spoilt for choice.

Weddings at Peckforton Castle

Peckforton Castle really lends itself to the romantic couple - the perfect dream wedding venue for the fairytale bride. It’s grandeur and splendour is second to none. The Great Hall alone is worth a visit. A stunning Gothic mix of stone and mahogany…simply stunning for weddings at Peckforton Castle. You can get married in the Great hall, then wander over to the Chapel for a blessing too if you wish. Weddings at Peckforton Castle are always incredible. I’ve photographed a stunning same-sex wedding at the venue, plus a few more traditional weddings too. Why not check out my Blog and see for yourself?
