Crow Wood Wedding Photographer- Lynsey & Kevin

Highlights from Lynsey & Kevin’s wedding at Crow Wood Hotel & Spa

Crow Wood Hotel Wedding Venue

Lynsey & Kevin booked me to be their Crow Wood Wedding Photographer around a year before their wedding. We met at a wedding fair at the venue, organised by Little White Books. Crow Wood Hotel & Spa is a gorgeous modern wedding venue in Burnley. It offers a perfect blend of modern architecture and style, combined with fantastic landscaped gardens and a lake to the rear - perfect for your Crow Wood Wedding Photographer to produce some stunning images.

Crow Wood describes itself as…

“This brand new luxury hotel is set in 40 acres of private parkland in Burnley, Lancashire, within the Crow Wood resort. With spectacular views of Pendle Hill and the surrounding countryside, a beautiful ornamental lake and fabulous gardens, it is a most wonderful place in which to spend your leisure time. With 76 luxurious bedrooms and suites, unrivalled wedding and conference facilities, award-winning restaurant and the multi award-winning Woodland Spa, it is already fast becoming the hotel, spa & wedding venue of choice for 2023 and beyond……”

If you’re looking for a modern luxury wedding venue, I would definitely add the Crow Wood Hotel to your wedding planning.

Crow Wood Wedding Photographer

I am fortunate enough to be one of the recommended photographers for Crow Wood Hotel. Being a Crow Wood Wedding Photographer means I know the venue well, have worked there before and can adapt to any weather conditions or timing changes on your wedding day with ease. As Lynsey & Kevin’s Crow Wood Wedding Photographer I was booked to just capture their day as it rolled out, live and unposed. Obviously we had a few family groups photos to shoot, plus a few minutes of couple photos in and around the venue, but probably 90% of the day as a Crow Wood Wedding Photographer is live and unposed, as you’ll see here.

Crow Wood Wedding in Summer

Lynsey & Kevin’s wedding was a summer one. In Lancashire that can mean anything weather-wise! We were hoping the overcast day would improve, but the sporadic showers were threatening to spoil my plans as a Crow Wood Wedding Photographer slightly. But we were flexible with our timings and nailed it! Yes, the sun didn’t show, but that also doesn’t show in our lovely wedding photos.

Emotional Wedding Ceremony

The ceremony at this Crow Wood Hotel wedding was full of fun and laughter, plus a few tears here and there. The registrars officiating were brilliant to work with. I quietly moved around, very subtly as a Crow Wood Wedding Photographer, shooting on my silent cameras, and capturing the emotion, the laughter and those little glances throughout the ceremony. And then we were married…well, they were….and off to grab some family group photos before the rain came again.

Natural wedding photography at Crow Wood

I love working as a Crow Wood Wedding Photographer. I think the styling, the architecture and the ambiance of the venue is brilliant for weddings, and for my Crow Wood Wedding Photographer wedding collections, some of which are featured on this website.

Here’s some of my favourite photos from the day…

Saxy Bexy wedding sax

As a surprise, we were treated to a set by Saxy Bexy (cool name!) Becky pounced onto the dance floor jamming along to some great dance tunes and really firing the party up after Lynsey & Kevins first dance. Great fun, and great for my my clients’ wedding photos being their Crow Wood Wedding Photographer too.
